Launching Connections and Your New Home

Launching Connections and Your New Home

ADPList community,

After many conversations with mentors and mentees alike, we felt we needed to do more to support mentors and mentees in achieving successful mentoring relationships. We’ve seen time and time again that the transformational value of mentoring often doesn’t happen immediately, but over time through continuous interactions and conversations.

Today, we are announcing a few updates to ADPList to help more of the community reach that stage.

Connections

Each connection you make on ADPList now has its own dedicated space for sharing and keeping track of updates, resources, learnings, and progress.

To open a connection space, click on a profile in your new “Connections” tab. Each connection space contains all your past, upcoming, and pending sessions, as well as agendas and action items for each.

Your New Home

Your ADPList home page has a new look! All updates, resources, and sessions from your 1:1 connections are centralized here in this grouped space. We’ve also brought the previous dashboard navigation up front and center for better accessibility.

Differentiated Booking Limits

Mentors will now also be able to set different booking limits for new connections and sessions for existing mentees in their Calendar settings page.

What’s next on the roadmap?

  • The ADPList community has so much to learn from each other, across industries, borders, disciplines, and experience levels. We’re exploring different ways to make community learning work on ADPList.
  • Secondly, we’re investing more in monitoring and improving the standards for both mentees and mentors, and the quality, trust, and safety of their interactions.
  • Lastly, we are adding the ability to create, manage, and participate in your own private mentorship group for organizations, institutions, and partners. Contact richie@adplist.org if you’re interested in bringing mentorship - and membership into the wider ADPList community - to your organization.

We hope that these updates will help to support continuous, meaningful learning!

Thanks,
